In brief
- This website works without an account, without cookies and without tracking.
- No analytics or advertising tools. We serve fonts and images ourselves; no external services are called.
- We only store email addresses if you sign up for news and confirm it.
Visiting the website
When you visit genesra.com, our server processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested address, status code and browser and system details (user agent). We use them only to deliver the site, detect errors and prevent abuse. Technical logs of the upstream reverse proxy are kept only briefly and are neither analyzed nor passed on.
The server is operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in a data center in Europe.
Email notification (optional)
If you sign up, we store your email address, the language you chose and the time and version of your consent. Purpose: to inform you about the launch of GENESRA. The basis is your consent.
You first receive an email with a confirmation link. If you do not confirm within 48 hours, the address is deleted. After confirmation you receive an email with an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes the address.
The data is stored on our server in Europe, sending runs through our own mail server, and it is not passed on. To prevent abuse we briefly count requests per IP address in memory without storing them.
As long as the home page says that sign-up is not open yet, no addresses are stored.
Visitor counter
The home page shows how many visitors the site has had so far. To count each visitor once a day without cookies, the server forms a one-way hash from the IP address, browser details and a random value that changes daily and exists only in memory. We store only the total, neither IP addresses nor hashes.
Contact by email
If you write to contact@genesra.com, we use your details only to reply. The message is kept on our own mail server.
Your rights
You can request information about your data, ask for correction or deletion, withdraw consent and object to processing. Write to contact@genesra.com. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
For people in the EEA: the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, when visiting the website, our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can complain to the supervisory authority in your country.
Changes
If the website changes, we will update this policy. The version published here applies.
